Wool felt Classic Gangster Hat.

This is the pinch front fedora hat, sometimes referred to as “gangster style” and made famous by “Indiana Jones”, distinguished by its teardrop shaped crown, brim size and gros grain band. 

Associated with the actors and characters on both sides of the law who made it famous in Movie Noir – Bogart, Sinatra, Claude Raines, Fred Mac Murray in “Double Indemnity” and even Elliot Ness, the Gangster Hat has a certain intimidating effect.

Our quality Gangster Fedora Hat is trimmed with the same gros grain ribbon used in the 1920’s and 1930’s and is made of soft, high quality wool felt to hold its shape.

2 1/2 inch brim.

This 100% wool felt hat is totally crushable and great for travel. Just push the crown out, and roll it up. When you get where you’re going, just unroll it and it’s ready to wear.

Pretreatment for water repellency makes it a good rain hat.
